Cosmic Clusterfuck

A hanging sculpture in which the phases of the moon are used to explore the idea of time, its cycles, and its influence on individual life and perspective. The shapes of the moon’s phases are configured out of mirrored, polished stainless steel and their surfaces reflect, refract, and distort each other, the environment, and the viewer. Hung from a rotating motor the piece slowly turns in an echo of the movement of the cosmos.
